We develop faster and more reliable tools of navigation and control for mobile robotics in general  and autonomous vehicles in particular.

What if an autonomous vehicle could find its way by remembering a handful of important landmarks along its way? We could then prepare it for a new route simply by showing a few example images of those landmarks. Similar to how we give address to a human driver ... turn right when you see a gas station, and continue straight until you see a red building ...
